Meet LaDarrin "LD" Davis
Greetings District 4 Voters,
My name is LaDarrin Davis, and I am honored to have the opportunity to introduce myself as a dedicated member of our community. With a strong passion for public service, I have devoted the past twenty years of my life to serving as a police officer. Throughout my career, I have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our neighborhoods, building trust and fostering positive relationships with residents and local organizations.
In addition to my law enforcement experience, I am a Certified Code Officer for the past ten years. In this role, I have championed efforts to maintain the integrity and quality of our community environment by addressing concerns, upholding local ordinances, and helping to resolve issues that matter most to our residents.
My commitment to service is backed by a solid educational foundation. I hold a master’s degree in public administration, which has equipped me with knowledge in governmental operations, policy development, and effective leadership. I also earned a bachelor’s degree in Police Administration, further enhancing my understanding of law enforcement principles and community engagement strategies.
Driven by a deep sense of responsibility and a desire to make a positive impact, I am eager to continue serving our community with integrity, transparency, and dedication. I look forward to connecting with each of you, listening to your concerns, and working together to build an even stronger, safer, and more vibrant community.

My approach is centered on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions for our shared future.
Economic development
Attracting new businesses and supporting existing ones is incredibly important to me because I want to see Lancaster thrive and provide good jobs and opportunities for all our residents, including my own friends and neighbors. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed by the lack of progress from current leadership when it comes to bringing in new businesses and helping our local entrepreneurs succeed. Too many opportunities have been missed, and our community deserves leaders who are proactive and dedicated to creating a vibrant local economy. I am committed to making economic growth and job creation a true priority, so Lancaster can reach its full potential.
Community engagement
I am deeply committed to making sure every voice in District 4 is truly heard. That means holding accessible meetings where everyone feels welcome to participate and prioritize open, honest communication with our community. I believe transparency builds trust, and I will always keep you informed and engaged as we work together to shape the future.
Infrastructure & safety
Investing in our roads, parks, and public safety is deeply important to me because I want every Lancaster resident including my own family, friends, and neighbors to feel safe and proud of our community. I have seen firsthand how neglected roads can impact daily life, from longer commutes to safety hazards, I believe we deserve better. I am disappointed with the lack of focus from our current leadership on these critical infrastructure needs, and I’m committed to making repairs and upgrades a priority. In addition, as someone who values the dedication of our first responders and city employees, I want to ensure they feel supported and appreciated for their vital work. By addressing these issues together, we can build a safer, more connected Lancaster where everyone who serves and calls this city home is truly valued.
Seniors & youth
Collaborating with school leaders, teachers, families, and seniors helps us engage youth and build community ties. By addressing their needs, we create programs that benefit young people and seniors. Including seniors in student activities strengthens community ties and promotes inclusivity.
